# Recall > Recall is an AI writing companion for remembering, interviewing, organizing, and writing life stories. It helps people gradually shape their own or their family's scattered experiences into a memoir they can read and revise. This is the Recall product website, for people who want to write their life story, listen to a parent's memories, or preserve family stories. Text writing on the website is connected to backend APIs. After signing in, users can tell their story, organize it, read and revise it, and view and redeem points. Availability depends on the deployed backend and writing service. Voice input, online top-ups, and payments are not yet available. Public pages offer product information, starting points, prepared sample demonstrations, and frequently asked questions. The conversations and The Iron Grasshopper sample are product demonstrations, not live results or real user testimonials. Recall's principle is to begin with one small remembered thing. Questions, organization, and revision help users continue telling their story without having to tell everything at once. Important experiences should come from the user's real account. The user decides what to include, the voice, and the final wording. Voice input remains a future capability; the website currently uses text. The links below use this site's English paths. ## Product and starting points - [Home](/en/): Product purpose and conversation and book illustrations. - [Product facts and availability](/en/#product): Who Recall is for, what is available now, and the scope of website text writing. - [About Recall](/en/#why): Why write a memoir, and the product's approach. - [Getting started](/en/#start): Choose your own story, a look back on your life, or a story for family, then continue to the writing page. ## Demonstration and questions - [Sample story](/en/#sample): A prepared four-stage demonstration of telling, asking, drafting, and revising, with an excerpt from The Iron Grasshopper. - [Our principles](/en/#trust): Real memories, the user's control of content, and the sharing of personal stories. - [Frequently asked questions](/en/#faq): Writing experience, facts, helping family members, and a first conversation. ## Full sample and conversation guide - [From conversation to revision: The Iron Grasshopper](/en/stories/iron-grasshopper.html): Compare source material, suggested questions, a first draft, and a revision.
